A systematic literature review is performed to analyze research publications of 2013-2018 on using SPOCs in European university education. It has been found that SPOCs combine well with formal university education in European Bachelor&rsquo;s degree programs when using pedagogical models like blended learning, flipped classroom and collaborative learning. We recommend spreading SPOC practices in Russian higher education to improve the learning motivation of students.},
